Congratulations to everyone who competed at the Grand Prix East in Oaks, PA just near Valley Forge! This tournament is like to a 50% national championship with high level competition from the entire eastern region of the US. All of the placements were hard earned and our group did really well, earning 11 gold, 11 silver and 8 bronze medals.
We brought nearly 50 competitors from CW Taekwondo Boston, our t.Bos competition group as well as our larger collegiate community, earning 11 gold, 11 silver and 8 bronze medals. Thanks also to our coach and mentoring crew who helped me cover the very busy weekend: Carissa Fu, Dave Chan, Miyako Yerick, Chris Lo, Kevin Lu, Justin Durand, Viet Nguyen, and Leah Rosenzweig.
