CW Officers

CW Taekwondo is run by volunteers who take on various roles to support critical functions for this non-profit. Below is a list of current officers and the important tasks they carry out. We are incredibly grateful for their hard work to keep CW running!

Meet The Team

Day to Day Operations

Tara Sarathi
President

​

  • Helps manage officer team

  • Identifies new directions for the Club

  • Liaison between Senior Instructors, Board of Directors, and club members

  • Manages membership sign up and renewal

Jesse Rusak
Treasurer

  • Manages and logs all financial transactions for adult and youth programs

  • Pays club bills, generates financial reports, and prepares and files the club's taxes

Sarthak Jena
Assistant Treasurer

  • Works at the direction of the Treasurer to ensure financial responsibilities for the club are properly logged and completed

Saima Sidik
VP Operations

  • Handles upkeep of hardware and equipment

  • Meets with contractors to handle repairs and upgrades where needed

  • Often works with Dojang Managers

Dojang Manager

  • Keeps dojang properly stocked with needed supplies

  • Organizes bi-annual dojang cleaning days

  • Ensures space is kept clean and orderly on a daily basis

Marketing

John Doherty
Digital Ad Campaigns

  • Creates and maintains digital marketing ads across Google and Facebook

  • Assists in creating marketing graphics

General Marketing

  • Manages CW's My Google Business account 

  • Works with Social Media Managers to develop effective marketing strategies and campagins

  • Helped to create and manage quarterly textile recycling fundraiser to raise money and create a more sustainable school

Sammi Alldredge
Website Management

  • Routinely updates website with new copy including CW announcements, maintenance of updated documents, new web pages, and more!

Events

Our events team arguably has the toughest job at the dojang and truly do it all! They organize and execute the various festivals CW has a presence at, they come up with new and fun events each month to help members get to know each other outside of class, and they are consistently devising new strategies to help members feel included. They are a key part to the amazing community we continue to build!

Amanda Lansing
Social Media Management and Graphic Design

  • Collaborates with CWs 2nd Social Media Manager to develop effective social media strategy and deliver content across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok

  • Create and maintain marketing graphics for print and digital use across various platforms

  • Created and maintains CW branding materials

  • Help manage quarterly textile recycling fundraiser to raise money and create a more sustainable school
