Congratulations to all on our historic first ever live online promotion test on Zoom this past Saturday on July 27! It was an inspiring day and you all were really able to show your technical improvement in the areas we have been working on as well as a strong knowledge of your curriculum. Good job! Special thanks to the instructors for their time and energy both in leading classes and judging, to the many members who stayed online to cheer for their classmates for 6 straight hours, and to the officers for keeping everything going behind the scenes during this challenging time! The dance party was a brilliant stroke of genius at the party and it was great to see everyone celebrate and let loose. The test was capped by an inspirational test from Bre, Justin, Minh, Nate and Sarita, who projected energy through the screen to all of us, showing their perseverance in training during quarantine during challenging circumstances, and enduring a grueling test. I really appreciated their journeys and that they were able to give so much without having the in person crowd (although the virtual crowd was loud, present and appreciated!).
